On the night of November 15, a Russian attack in Odesa damaged cultural heritage sites protected by UNESCO.

The shockwave damaged buildings located within the World Heritage Site under threat, the Historic Center of Odesa, and its buffer zone.

The buildings of Mechnikov Odesa National University were also damaged. In particular, the paleontological museum, which dates back to 1873.

This is yet another evidence Russia is destroying the cultural heritage of Ukraine and the world.
